Courses & Flags

There is a significant amount of information that must be known before a sailor goes out to the race course. A great deal of information is communicated via signal flags and horns. A skipper needs to know what each of these flags and horns mean in order to race safely and successfully. CLSA also uses a variety of course layouts so that a race course matches the wind conditions observed on the lake by the race committee. The links below describe the signal flags and courses used at CLSA.
